Anyone here have experience with True20?

Howdy dopers! I was wondering if anyone here has ever played or ran a game using Green Ronin’s True20 system. My gaming group is rather large - we have twelve people altogether, and up until recently, we were running three seperate games in which all twelve were involved - a d20 Modern campaign that I ran, which was started to introduce our newer gamers to the concept of role-playing, a 2 Ed. game set in Ravenloft, and a home-brew game with a home-brew system.

Initially, each game had 4-5 players, but grew as we made new friends who also wanted to play. Recently, the guy who ran his own system decided that he doesn’t have the ability to run a 12 person game on his lonesome, but his rules rely a lot on his judgment calls and tweaking of rules, which makes it hard for another GM to help out. Since my own campaign was coming to its climax, we made the decision to end both of our weekly games, and combine efforts to run a new game. The plan is to share the GM efforts, with each person taking “lead” narrator position every couple of weeks, while the other helps run encounters and narrates side plots.

At the moment, we are seriously considering the True20 system. I bought 6 licenses for it ages back, but have never had a chance to really play the system. I was curious what other gamers thought about it, and what is strengths and weaknesses were.

Thanks!
