Hi, Everyone!
I was surfing the Internet for information on wounds and came across this wound vac thread.

I do not have experience with wound vac but was so impressed by all of your straight forwardness and concern that I joined this forum.

What I want to share is the info from one of the gaping wound healing links that appeared on the bottom of my screen of the wound vac thread. In case you don’t display the same links on your screen, here is the link to an apparently new procedure.

The pictures are graphic BUT the end result pictures depict ASTOUNDING HEALING

Anyone have experience with dermaclose? Is the tube shown in this graphic picture case #2 a wound vac tube.?

Yes, that is a wound vac tube. I wish mine had been black, though. Mine was clear, always sticking out the bottom of my shirt, and anyone who cared to look could see the nasty stuff draining through it. Ick.
