Anyone know a good site where I can find out baseball TEAM stats by year?

A math prof has assigned a statistics question in which students have to find the number of wins and number of homeruns BY TEAM each year for the last 30 years. I know next to nothing about sports and my 5 minutes of googling has found all kinds of info on stats by PLAYER but I haven’t been able to find it by TEAM. Any suggestions from baseball fans for sites that have this kind of info?

Thanks

Okay, here’s the stupidest question I’ve asked- on this Boston Red Sox history site, is the first number in the RECORD column their wins and the second number their losses? (I found this early but I’m so baseball illiterate I had no idea they played that many games in a season.)

baseball reference this is the page for the national league in 2007. It has the wins/losses at the top, scroll down slightly for batting stats by team. Also at the top is a link to “previous year” so you can go back in time and get the same data.

Edited to add, you can find the American League data with the “2007 AL” link at the top as well.

It is indeed.

If you click on the AL East link to the left, it’ll give you all the stats for the American League teams for that year, by team. Using that you can find the number of home runs the team hit each year for as long as the team existed.

Major thanks.

The Baseball Almanac site has pretty much anything you need in terms of history and statistics. Under the “History” tab, you can go to “Year-by-Year” and find annual standings for both leagues, plus the individual stat leaders, with additional highlights for the year. Under “Leaders” and then “Statmaster” you can call up any team for any year, mark the desired stat (Home Runs), and get the team total and the totals for each of the players on the roster during the year. If you’re really into it, you can get the box scores for any game as well.
