I have a picture in my mind, of a super character, I think hero, but maybe a villain. He is a younger, junior member of a group. He has wild hair, blond or light brown, long thin fingers, and a very angular body. I think his skin is a normal colour, and his outfit has some green with maybe red and brown. I don’t know any stories, background or powers. I’m not even sure that I didn’t just make him up, but if he strikes a chord with anyone I’d be really happy to find out.
Wild Child, of Beta Flight?
Damn, when reading the OP, I thought Wild Child instantly.
But, honestly, the description could fit thousands in the horde of shitty Image-like characters from the nineties (besides Wild Child isnt really “young”).
Wild Child is way too muscly, but thanks for the suggestion.
I know it’s really vague. The only thing I could add is that it is probably not someone very obscure, because I haven’t read a lot of comics.
Even if you dont remember much, you’ll have to add some details. Do you remember what time period you read about that character? Any story or plot linked to him?
Might you be conflating Doug Ramsey and Warlock, both of the New Mutants? The ‘long and angular, with wild hair’ makes me think of Warlock, but he’s very clearly not human - however, he was pretty much joined at the hip to his ‘selffriend’, Doug. Who is blonde, and wears the yellow-and-black New Mutants uniforms. IIRC, Doug’s actually one of the older members of the New Mutants, but the New Mutants were a sort of junior adjunct to the X-Men, and Warlock, due to his alien nature, reads very ‘young’. They’ve also merged a couple times.
Or maybe Gambit, of the X-Men?
Ragdoll, from Secret Six?
Warlock would be really close, if he were human. Maybe Tengu is right.
Not Skin, by any chance?
This is goig to be a longshot, but how about Squirrel Girl ?
