Yes, that was Kelsier’s brother. (Marsh, I think?) It’s the whole hemalurgy thing that lets him live that long (everyone else was killed, I guess).
They do give the date in there somewhere. Somewhere around 200-300 years.

Another “read it, liked it, not as much as Mistborn but Mistborn is a pretty high bar” vote here.
It’s been a few years since I read Mistborn, and I knew it was Marsh, but couldn’t remember what happened to him at the end of the trilogy.
Me too. I like the part of the book that discusses the current state of the main religion. Am I right that the main religion Wax follows is the new one where Sazed is god?
Worship is prohibited and the only form of spiritual action required is helping others.
It does sound like what Sazed would come up with having suffered such a crisis of faith in the trilogy.
Un-related to “Alloy of Law” but can anyone who read the original trilogy please explain what happened to Marsh?
Spoiler - So Vin kills the deepness (can’t remember his name) and Sazed becomes the new god, but they never say what happened to Marsh, he killed Elend then it goes to Sazed and you never see/hear what happens to Marsh… I went back and read that part a few times and couldn’t find anything.
My husband and I have actually decided to be Pathians. It makes much more sense than a lot of the other options currently available in the real world, and if Hubbard can make a psycho batshit religion up and have it actually work, then why not adopt a made-up religion that is actually good for something!
