Does anyone remember when showtime had those short films they would run between movies back in the 80’s? Well, in, I’m guessing 1981, 1982 or so, there was one short film called, I believe, THE 20 MILE LIMIT. It was shot completely in negative and seemed as I remember to have this Orwellian feel to it. I can’t find any info on it anywhere. Who wrote it? Can it be purchased. I would appreciate any info anyone can scrape up. Thanks.
Still waiting? Anyone?
I remember it. Only saw it once. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again.
“I’m convinced that the 20-mile limit is just an old fishing limit.”
The problem with über-obscure films is that threads about them fall off the boards. I think you’d have better luck asking about Quasi at the Quackadero, another “Showtime Short”.
[sub]Actually, ISTR starting a thread about it a while ago.[/sub]
The odd thing, well, more odd than remembering the short flick since I was only about 8 years old when I saw it, is that I’ve Googled it, I’ve been all over the web, I’ve asked other “Über Obscure Film” fans about it and they’ve never heard of it.
::::::::sigh:::::::: It’s becoming an obsession.
