I can’t decide if I want to see this movie. The previews look really interesting, but I don’t know if I could take Ashton Kutcher seriously. So for those of us that are waffling, did you like it? Would you recommend it?

Looks like not many people have seen this yet, but I recommend it. With it starring Ashton Kutcher, and looking from the previews like it was targeted at the Final Destination crowd, I didn’t know what to expect, either. It was surprisingly good, aside from the inevitable plot holes and a little stretch of cheesy scenes somewhere in there. Kutcher did an acceptable job, I thought. No Oscar winner, but not once did I feel like I was watching Michael Kelso. Maybe dating Demi Moore gives you a more mature perspective on life. Thought the rest of the acting was ok, too, except during said cheesy stretch. As for the plot, I thought it was very well-crafted, and I’m still thinking about it. Some good scares in there, too. Perhaps most will either love it or hate it, but I give it 3 1/2 out of five. Don’t let Ashton scare you away, he’s really not bad. If you do see it, let us know what you think in this thread (spoilers).
