My mother has long been an admirer of Daniel Berrigan. While on IMDB looking at the work of documentary filmmaker Emile de Antonio I was surprised to discover that he made a dramatized version of The Plowshares Eight trial in 1983, with Berrigan playing himself.

I’ve been thinking of buying this for her as a birthday present but a few things are dissuading me. First is the low IMDB user rating of 4.4. The trivia section states that the entire thing was shot in 2 days. Secondly, it seems to be ridiculously expensive on the used VHS market (I don’t think it was ever released on DVD). So before I drop 100 bucks down on this thing I was hoping a few people on the Dope might have seen it and would give me their opinion on the movie. Anyone?
