I haven’t heard hide nor hair from D_Odds, though I’ve got workable characters from the rest of your three. Shall we say 8pm EDT, on Tuesday, to start?

I’m a bit unclear about how OpenRPG is supposed to function… does Dio just start a server and post or PM the connection information here?

Well we could always use AIM or another IM program as a contingency, if nobody knows how to run OpenRPG.
So I’ve got a bit of an idea of how Open RPG is supposed to work. Only problem is, I don’t think the whiteboard function is worth the hassle of using it. If I were a good GM, and spent hours making beautiful maps, it might be more useful. It’s probably also more useful in D&D, where a mobile visual setup of the battlefield is necessary. In Shadowrun It’s probably less useful. You guys won’t be hitting anything even vaguely mazelike in the first portion (tonight’s installement) of the run, so why don’t we just do it in an AIM chatroom for tonight. My aim ID is in the profile.
Dice rolling will be on yer honor. I’ll go over the rules a little before we start and as needed during the game.

Sure. Anyway, my IRL buddy said he’s down to play. His computer is fried, unfortunately, but he’ll try to use his girlfriend’s, and I’m gonna go over to his place and help him draw up a character before the game starts.
Hmm, if I’m not online when you connect to AIM, could you guys please post here? I’m leaving my AIM up since I’m on the computer anyway, but it’s a homebrew client and I want to make sure it isn’t making me invisible for some odd reason.
Hrm… Hanging out, added both Hostile and Dio to my contacts list… And I’m not seeing either of them. It’s 5 past… I’ll hang out until half-past, see if anyone stirs.
Could be that they auto-block anyone who isn’t on their friends list, and it just slipped their mind to add our AIMs.
I just got home from my buddy’s house. I went over there and got him set up with my sniper/hacker character. I’ll get on AIM in a minute. I dunno if we’re using OpenRPG or AIM, but hopefully Dio shows up soon.
I think Dio suggested AIM at least for today, since this evening’s game doesn’t have a maze component.
Dio was listed as ‘on’ before, a few hours ago. Listed as off now. If anyone sees him, lemme know. I’ll check here again in a few minutes.
Well, update: It’s now game time +1 hour and 15, and I’m thinking this just isn’t happening tonight. Hopefully we’ll get this going next week.
