Anyone use ALL-IN-WONDER® 128 graphics card?

I think I’ll field this one.

First, remember that you’re watching interlaced (NTSC) video on a non-interlaced (VGA) screen. That’s going to take down the quality a notch. Second, you’re not usually 16 inches from your TV, as you are with your monitor.

As for the streaking, you don’t generally see the very top of your TV’s image, as you do with a computer monitor.

I like my AIW. I have a wee VCR hooked up to my PC, no cable.

S’okay for movies. (I have rabbit ears on my damned PC so I can bring in the CBC – how F’d up is that?)

The main use I get out of it is dumping down new episodes of Southpark onto VHS so my friends can see them. (They take forever to get shown up here.)

(It does suck rocks for gaming, though.)

I like it a lot, and even if I didn’t, I’d be a bad nationalist if I didn’t encourage you to Buy Canadian.

Well, I tried and tried this weekend, but I couldn’t get my ATI All in Wonder 7500 to work. It’s been about a week and those crazy canuks at ATI haven’t responded to my tech support email. I am never home early enough to call the tech support number.

I am selling it on EBay any getting a Geforce card for video.

I would still like to do a tv card, though. Am I to understand correctly that one can use both of these at the same time and they don’t interfere with eachother?

Correct, Debaser. I have a GeForce 3 Ti200 in my AGP slot, and a Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP TV card in one of my PCI slots. Works great.
