Does anyone use Digimarc (digital watermarking and copyright protection)?
To summarize: Digimarc adds a visible or invisible digital watermark to your copyrighted works, which usually cannot be removed or edited out and will be visible if the image is printed. The “Professional” level also allows you to track your work everywhere it is posted on the Web.
What do you think of it? Ever found anyone using your work without authorization?
I signed up for it because it works with a program I have. However I can’t for the life of me figure out how to make the actual watermark. Though it looks like it is a good product and something I would really like to use…
Maybe I need Digimarc for Dummies…
I haven’t gotten that far yet but it seems to me you don’t have to make anything unless you want a visible one. If you want the invisible, Digimarc does it for you, I thought? I could be wrong, like I said I’m not to that point yet.
