What kind of game is it?

It’s like a 5v5 one-unit RTS with RPG elements. Instead of collecting resources to make more dudes, you collect resources to make your one dude stronger. You do so with four other players and try to beat the other team’s five players. The unit variety is immense and the appeal is in how you get everything and everyone to work together to win.

It’s the game that inspired League of Legends, if that’s familiar to you.

Wait, forget it if Episode 1 is just an expansion. What an odd naming system. Surely the original would be episode one, and the short sequel should be episode 2.

No, it’s Half-Life 2, then Half-Life 2, Episode 1, and then Half-Life 2, Episode 2. Which is… yeah.

However, it’s not an expansion - both episodes are stand alone games that don’t require the original to play. Plot might not make much sense, though, particularly given that I was mistaken, and it’s actually Episode 2 that I have, not Episode 1. Still interested?
