Just finished the first episode and have to say I really like the writing, though the lead character - Alma - has the potential to sour over time.
I watched the whole thing.
I liked it despite the main protagonist. It’s REALLY hard to like that girl. But I found the other characters interesting enough to keep me watching.
I only watched three episodes so far. I find it just barely interesting enough to keep watching. The problem for me is that this is basically slice of life with just enough fantasy and weirdness to keep it watchable.
Two episodes left, overall I’m enjoying it but definitely think the lead character is insufferable. I assume that’s intentional but sometimes I just want to reach through the screen and give her a good shake.
i just finished it. I hate ambiguous endings! But I would totally watch a season 2.
I watched the whole season. After the first episode I wondered why it was animated, because it didn’t seem very cartoony. It became obvious shortly into the second episode.
I liked it overall. My main criticism is that some of the dialog (especially between Alma and Sam) seemed stilted and forced. It didn’t bother me that Alma was unlikable.
Watched the whole season over a couple of long flights. I like anything with Bob Odenkirk. Still not sure if Alma is gifted or schizophrenic.
We didn’t get very far. Alma was just a horrible person and we couldn’t do it.
Yep, the ending turned my already lukewarm feelings towards the show even colder; if it gets a second season, the first episode would have to be pretty incredible to win me back.
