I couldn’t find an extant thread. “Will” is a miniseries about the early days of William Shakespeare breaking into the playwriting business in London. The first two episodes were broadcast this past week. I thought it was excellent. And it was great to see Colm Meaney really hamming it up!
The soundtrack seems to be mostly 1980s-era British punk music (i.e., “London Calling”) which seems oddly appropriate.
Anyone else watching? What do you think?
I’m watching. I find it interesting, but very dark. I’m not a fan of seeing torture. I have watched the first episode but have the others recorded. Depending on direction, I might stick with it, or might just have to turn it off. The fate of Baxter was extremely disturbing to me.
