Am I the only person here interested in this game? I played and liked APB before it went under and I’m now playing the open beta for APB Reloaded.
The game can be really frustrating sometimes; for some reason, I play this game more inconsistently than any other FPS. Also, the population is a weird mix of WoWers, FPSers, and lots of griefers.
Nevertheless, when it is fun, it is really fun. Some of the shootouts are right out of the movie Heat. Is anyone else tracking this game?
I’ve played a bit and it is fun when you can get into a decent squad. I play as a cop on the US East server. It’s great when you can focus on objectives with your team, but I’ve had some problems with players on the other side (that aren’t in the mission - and therefore essentially immortal - standing in front of me and pointing me out) but that can be useful too, as the other team can’t shoot through them. Still, I enjoy the game, it is basically Grand Theft Auto with team based multiplayer.
Pretty fun.
Yeah, I play on the East Coast server as an enforcer too. It certainly has its asshats and finding good team mates is key, but when it is fun it is really fun.
