I just saw Apocalypse Now: Redux, on the weekend. Being a huge fan of the original version I was ready for a double treat, not only do I get to see it on an IMAX screen with full blown Surround for the first time, but I get an Hour extra of previously unseen footage. I walked out satisfied yet I still had mixed feelings on this “new” film. Anybody else get the feeling that the new scenes with the exception of a couple felt like brick walls. Has anybody else seen the new version and what are your opinions on it? Also if you have never seen it in its original cut what did you think of the pacing of the film?
