Recently, Indiana’s Supreme Court rejected a suit challenging our hetero-only marriage law. They explained that marriage was for the bearing and raising of children in a father-and-mother family. I was surprised. I thought I had been married 25 years to the same woman. We never chose to have children, though, so the court says we were never married at all. Rats. I coulda been screwing around all those years without committing adultery! :stuck_out_tongue:

The definition must mean 2 adults, cause Mary Kay LeTerneau thinks love is all that matters also.
Me, 2 adults can be married without having sex, just ask married people how often they have sex as opposed to before they married!
Count me as one who thinks marriage can be a civil thing, and also religious; meaning if 2 people jump over a broom and claim publicly to betrhoth, then I see them as legally married.
