I’m not quite sure I’ve got multi-quote working right here, but here’s a selection of what followed Siam Sam ’s frog-marching comment. He was called on it. It did not go un-remarked. There may be other hateful comments from liberal posters that did, but this one was rebuffed strongly.
I have friends and family- not just farthest-righters, but also people I generally consider sensible conservatives- who fall into that category. I find the decision abhorrent, and I’m less than impressed by the reasoning involved- but I still love them and care for them.
Don’t you dare. Don’t you dare say that about people you don’t know. I despise the Annoying Orange as much as anybody- I had basically a nervous breakdown in November- but absolutists like you will ensure the country never heals.
You’re calling my mother a traitor? You’re calling my father a traitor? You’re calling my best friend a traitor, the girl I practically grew up with, the one who made me an honorary member of her family? How dare you? How dare you.
Agree. If we’re going to claim to be better than his supporters, we should damn well act better.
The irony is calling people, who exercised their democratic right in a way in which you don’t agree, “traitors who should be shot”. Saying they are the greatest threat to America while calling for them to be shot for not voting for your guy is the epitome of irony.
I completely despise the orange cheeto and hope he faces obstructionism for the duration of his time in office (send a prayer to the great spaghetti god that it will be short) but calling for the death of his supporters is just as horrible as he is.
And damn you for making me stick up for trump supporters - barf!!
