Option #1: First, provide evidence that you were born yesterday and haven’t participated in so many of these threads that you should be able to provide 20 to 30 cites yourself from memory.
Option #2: Fuck off, troll. After all that rat bastard has said and done, you think it’s funny to say “cite?” as if this is day one?
Just. Fuck. Off.
Tell that to Kinky Friedman. Then go the hell back to Stormfront.
I’ll point out again that this person was fired almost immediately.
Were this actually a conservative there would be a host of excuse-making, heming nad hawing, shuffling the event under the rug, claims that she is a nobody, and calls telling her targets that they should just buckle up and deal with it. Then a few days later when the pressure truly has mounted they would ‘resign’ after ‘ma ny prayer sessions’.
Nope. She’s out. Within hours. I’m sure at some point some Conservative who shot off their mouthin an obscene way was fired within hours of the confirmation of the statement but right now I cannot for the life of me remember one.
Absolutely nothing.
There is no such thing as context. All statements exist in the Eternal Now, without reference to history, either personal or global, such that trying to interpret them is a Liberal Canard, and only done to make honest Real Americans look foolish.
Therefore, the only meaning is what is read into it by the dishonest. Anyone who attempts to connect statements to ideology, or ideology to action, is doing so in the service of a Narrative, and, as we all know, only Liberals have Narratives and Narratives are entirely dishonest.
It means nothing. Trying to impute meaning is an attack. Being attacked means you’re right, and the attacker is wrong, and the attacker must concede defeat lest they be tarred with the accusation of bias.
Sacco was conservative? That was news to me as she is reported as being quite liberal (albeit insensitive with her attempt at ‘satire’), or at least not very conservative.
Want to try again?
On the subject of asinine statements following the Vegas shootings - bonus points to Senator Sherrod Brown.
Brown was responding to endorsement of a potential Republican opponent, Josh Mandel by a couple of alt-right flavored dingbats, and said:
“On a day when America is already grieving it turns my stomach to hear that a group led by bigots will attempt to influence Ohio’s election for Senate.”
If he had just started with “it turns my stomach” I could heartily agree, but no, he had to try to exploit the shootings for political gain.
Which doesn’t make him as big a creep as Mandel, but Brown shouldn’t be attempting to play catchup.
Maybe they are pissed because CBS did not double down on the idiocy and refuse to do anything?
They’re miffed that CBS is infringing on her First Amendment rights.
More proof, as if needed, that Okrahoma doesn’t read his own links, and just looks for a headline he thinks will support his so-called argument.
Incidently, you had to go all the way back to 2013 to find even this rather lame attempt to support your point?
Trump has espoused a philosophy of escalation. One of the things he’s said frequently …and one of the most common statements that his staff utters in his defense…is “If you hit him, he’s going to hit back 10 times as hard”.
I imagine that within the bubble of the Trump Organization…there were rules about “letting Trump win”. Rules that Trump never knew about.
Now that he’s not a boss anymore but the worlds biggest employee he’s finding that those rules no longer apply. You want to hit back 10 times as hard? Best be prepared to get punched out even harder. It’s hard to give a measured response to someone that doesn’t know measured responses.
And the internet and social media emboldens some people. I have seen people that run actual businesses dedicated to combatting bullying IRL act like vicious bullies online and on Facebook. I’m all in favor for holding people accountable for their actions on-line. I’m glad the lawyer was fired.
What the hell did Republicans ever do to make this person angry enough to say a thing like this‽
An idiot said something completely disgusting and got fired for it – hopefully to NEVER work in the “news” ever again.
I’m a left leaning, liberal leaning Democrat and I listen to country music sometimes.
I suspect this idiot FORMER news clown will be used by Okra, O’Reilly, Alex Jones etc to sell the Vast Liberal False Flag Conspiracy that liberals were behind the shootings, in order to take away their guns (Jones has already started saying this false flag shit AGAIN).
I also expected what I’ve been seeing already, the “Now is not the time to discuss gun control” bullshit again. I’m a gun owner and a pro second amendment guy who needs to ask …
**WHEN is the right time? **
If it were a rap concert where someone randomly killed 59 innocent people, and a media person named Travis Connor McWhitey said “I’m not even actually sympathetic because rap fans are often Democratic thugs”, I would assume that person making the statement was very likely racist against African-Americans, in addition to being rabidly anti-Democrat.
She said something vaguely racist. Conservative was the safe bet.
We need to wait until we have forgotten the last shooting, otherwise, we may use people being killed as a reason to look for ways of preventing people from being killed.
Ray Benson and Kinky Friedman beg your pardon.
If she were conservative she would have been kept on her job for several more days before ‘resigning’.
Sorry, you’re still not being clear. It sounds very much like you were claiming that you could have reliably determined that Ms. Geftman-Gold is anti-Republican simply because she has a Jewish-sounding last name.
I do hope I’m misunderstanding you, because that would be bigoted and idiotic.
