Jerome York, a member of Apple’s board of directors, died yesterday after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage earlier in the week.
Since yesterday, Apple has taken down all the usual content on their homepage (including all the hype about the impending iPad launch), and replaced it with a farewell message of sorts.
Pretty nice gesture, isn’t it?
