Apple Tree Scab

I bought a Profusion Crab apple tree from lowes for my mom for mothers day. A few days ago we noticed it has what seems to be scab. There are two other apple trees in the yard (Macintosh and Jonathan) that are quite a distance from the infected tree, and they show no signs of scab. So it would seem it came from the store with the infection.
(I live in northeast PA if that makes any difference)

I googled apple tree scab, and what I read seems to say the treatment is to rake up the fallen leaves in the fall and remove them from the site, or to spray the tree before it gets leaves on it in the spring. But is there anything I can do for it now?

We planted this tree for ornamental reasons, so we want to to look good. We also don’t want it to spread to the other apple trees.

I guess an option would be to dig the tree up and return it to lowes. But I was there last week looking around (before I knew the tree has scab), and they didn’t have any more of this kind of tree.

Thanks for any help.
