Can Anyone Help My Apple and Peach Trees?

Can anyone help me confirm that the diseases of my fruit trees are what I think they are?

I have two young (planted 4 years ago) apple trees - one HoneyCrisp and the other is Fuji - that see to be suffering from Fire Blight.
Additionally, I have two Elberta peach trees, also planted 4 years ago, that seem to be suffering from Brown Rot.

Here’s a link to photos.

I treated the peach trees for Leaf Curl very early this spring with a fungicide which did control the Leaf Curl, but since this is the first year that I’ve gotten peaches, the Brown Rot was a surprise.

I also treated the apples with Streptomycin Sulfate for the Fire Blight which has infected the trees for the last two seasons.

Looking at the photos, is this what I think it is?

Can anyone advise me on any further steps I should take now or in the future? The Fire Blight is especially worrisome as everything that I’ve read on the net suggests that all affected branches should be trimmed away and burned. If I do that, there will be no branches left on the trees.

Help?

You should probably call an arborist and get good info on treatment. Fruit trees are pretty resilient, even after radical pruning. We had to literally remove half our Asian pear tree, after an unseen constriction killed that portion. The tree just directed its energy to another area. Then we radically cut it short in order to train it to an espalier that I had built. Same result, and lots of fruit this year. That said, the first thing a master gardener told us in a class on fruit trees was: don’t plant fruit trees, because they’re susceptible to all manner of infestation and disease. Good luck.

I have a number of fruit trees in my yard and absolutely hate the apple tree. It seems to be susceptible to just about every insect and disease that comes along. It’s about three years old and it finally produced some apples this year: three of them. First off a hail storm did a number on the apples, and then the worms got into them.
I’m not a big fan of chemical sprays, and the other fruit trees don’t suffer half the problems as this tree.

First apple tree for me, and the last apple tree for me.

Yup. Mine are more than four years old, and still no fruit. Just Fire Blight.

When I saw the peaches for the first time I was thrilled, and now most (all?) are bad with Brown Rot. At least the trees don’t have Leaf Curl like last year.
