Appropriate forum for a question

I have something of a General Question that will elicit Your Opinion about a Cafe Society matter, so I’m looking for an idea of where it should be.

I have an old folding Kodak camera that appears to be in good enough condition to take pictures. It uses an obsolete 116 film. I’ve read that it is possible to put 120 film in it with some modifications. I am would like to know if anyone has tried this, and if so, what they found that works.

I also have a more general question about 120 film.

My guess is that this would be something for Cafe Society, but would like some direction in the matter.

I should have mentioned that I tried Google. It gives ideas, but it only leads to more questions, hence my desire to start a thread here. Most of the Google hits I’ve found tell me to build little spacers, ranging from using 50 cent pieces to washers and nail heads. I don’t mind wasting a bit of money on film and processing - I don’t want to screw up the camera.

I see you used different search times, so I’ll look through those links as well.
