Just a typo. Since switching to Discourse/Chrome, I have to use my phone held in portrait orientation when composing replies which makes the keyboard super tiny. My rate of typos has increased significantly.
My grandfather was an independent funeral director and I grew up with far more exposure to the biz than most. I’ve been in more than one hearse … in the front, of course. For a while, I had an account with the Illinois Funeral Directors’ Credit Union.
One of my first jobs was at an NYC company that rented lighting and special effects.
One year, on April 1st, the foreman handed me a large order for pickup at noon that day. The order seemed to be chock full of everything we didn’t have in stock, and I spent a few minutes in Superman mode, trying to plot out a path to fill it.
Then I took a closer look at the paperwork and realized the name of the production was “My Foolish First”, the contact name was April and the delivery address was the Puck Building.
It was a good prank, and a harmless one.
