Whilst stopped at a light, I saw a 3-family house, which wasleaning! I’d say the roof (about 30’), was leaing a good 12" from the verticle! Would this house pass a good home inspection? How much are houses allowed to lean? :smack:
This one is just off my Alley. I work for the Agency that regulates building construction in Arizona. A wall is supposed to be straight within 1/4" (6.4mm) floor to ceiling.

If your 3 family house is two stories tall it’s exceeding the standard for new construction by a factor of 24. We can enforce this standard for two years. How bad the building has to lean before it’s condemned? Sorry, someone else’s department.
