Arcane: League of Legends (animated series)

I watched the first 3 episodes of season 2 this morning and I really liked them. There’s no back story or exposition to mess around with, so they could jump straight into the action. And I think it looks even better than the first season.

I just finished the first 3 also. Pretty good overall.

Didn’t read the article but did the show get “cancelled” or is season 2 the ending? I have no interest in watching season 2 if it doesn’t conclude the story.

I believe the refer to it as the “final season”, so hopefully it will finish up the Vi/Jinx story at least. The article mentioned that they originally intended to have at least 5 seasons, so who knows what might have been, in terms of longer storylines.

Episodes 4-6 are still entertaining me. I don’t know where the Black Rose storyline is going (will they introduce Leblanc?) and I’m not sure how they can wrap that story up in 3 episodes along with the rest of the plot threads happening in Piltover & Zaun.

I watched the last 3 episodes and I was satisfied with the ending. The Black Rose thing was never really explained, but otherwise they wrapped up most of the loose ends (and even left a hint for a possible sequel with the raven at the end).

They’ve left so many strong implications and so much foreshadowing about the fate of Powder/Jinx, and it’s driving me crazy how many people are missing them. Especially that scene where Caitlin zooms in on the air vents while fiddling with the remnants of Jinx’s monkey bomb. This isn’t a show that makes choices without intention. And that was the most blatant one to me. That scene makes no other sense narratively.

Yes, they definitely left the door open for Jinx, Warwick, Jayce, Viktor and/or Heimerdinger to return if they ever decide to revive the series.

In case anyone hasn’t seen the trailer for the Noxus series coming out later this year.

So they cancelled it because it was too expensive to make just to make a brand new show that looks exactly the same? maybe you could save some money by not hiring Imagine Dragons this time.

I believe that’s a trailer for the new expansion to the League of Legend’s video game, not a new show.

My mistake; I probably misinterpreted a comment I read.

It’s for the game, but it’s definitely teasing the next series, though. The director confirmed that it’ll be happening in Noxus. These will most likely be the characters involved.
