Are blacklight posters dangerous?

Hilarious double-post, Dr. F.

And hits close to home.

I say, this is discrimination against black heavy posters!

You may not want to shine a blacklight upon yourself as many clothes also phosphoresce. The only remedy is to go naked.

Just weight.

Here’s the MSDS for NaCl:

If you didn’t know better you’d think it was a mutagenic, skin irritant.

On the other hand, here is the MSDS for something truly caustic, NaOH. You can see how more extreme the language is.

Don’t make light of this matter.

Not even UV light?

I have an artist friend who uses black light paints, and often uses it to paint people’s bodies to great effect.

Presumably he knows what he’s doing and isn’t damaging his or his subjects’ health?

So you’re saying it’s a life extender?

Are we still confusing rabies and scabies?

Either that, or it causes progeria.

Studies have shown that extended visual contact with blacklight posters can cause the viewer to spill the bong on their beanbag chair, possibly staining the shag carpet in the process.

I was about to say, “is Spencer Gifts still around?”, then I decided to Google my own question.

Yes, Spencer Gifts is still around (now just named Spencer’s)…and they do, indeed, continue to carry black light posters.
