I would make a guess that, from observation, the female world of on-the-street fashion would be evenly split on this one. About half the women my age go for the ‘1.5-bounce-per-step jiggle’ or the ‘one-cycle-per-step’ bounce. The other half either have the ‘one-cycle-per-step-side-to-side’ sway with no bounce or the set-in-concrete non-movement. I guess it’s a choice?
The determining factors appear to be:
a) size and ‘weightiness’ of the prow,
b) firmness and constriction-design of the foundation (or lack thereof) garment,
c) jounciness of the step and firmness of placing the heel of the foot on the ground.
So…
Is it a deliberate ploy? Is it a fashion statement? Can the 1.5 hertz frequency boob-bounce be the miniskirt fashion statement of the noughties?
Or am I just noticing that women’s breasts fascinate me?
You can get a good idea of the size of the breasts by observing their motion by this scale:
1- Too small: Breasts don’t bounce at all
2- Nice: Breasts bounce in unison
3- Getting too big: Breasts bounce independently
4- Gross: Different parts of same breast bounce independently
As of this posting, the thread immediately below this one is: Big Time Ping Pong matches on TV
Don’t know why that caught my eye…
Carry on. (glances nervously)
I admire your dedication to science. But I have another observation/question: I’ve seen women with obvious implants who don’t bounce at all–and I’m talking zero.
But I’ve also seen some rather large-breasted women with what appears a triple bounce. The paradox, of course, is that naturally large breasts generally require firm support, which would seem to inhibit such bounciness. All of this emperical observation leads to this question: Has science developed largish implants that allow a more natural look–one that would provide great support, yet also considerable bounce?
Actually that line caused my eyes to bug out a little. Made me thirsty too.
The bounce certainly is some fine advertising. Get’s my attention. Outfits certainly seem to play a part. Is it very hard to control them when jogging? I’ve seen some women out there and their breasts are all over the place. I’ve got a little bit of fat up front and even that’s uncomfortable.
Do you guys actually think we have control over what they do most of the time? I sure have wished I did sometimes; it would have been a lot more comfortable to play soccer or go biking that way.
I never noticed what mine did unless it was uncomfortable. Maybe it’s like Schroedinger’s cat; the act of observing disturbs the observed.
(You may wonder why I’m mostly writing in past tense. It’s because I can’t play soccer or run anymore since I busted my ankle.)
I suspect his thinking is that it’s possible to get them to jiggle in different ways by using different gaits, and, if so, asking if that is deliberate.
Speaking from experience, I will reccomend high support sports bras for that. Zero bouncing.
And yes, I’ve experiemented with this - playing soccer with normal bra on = lots of bouncing and much pain. Playing soccer with sports bra on = no bouncing, and pain only when the ball hits your breast.
my breasts are a DD cup. Bouncing makes them hurt and that is not sexy. If they jiggle a little it is ok and I can have guys mesmerized by that. Men are so basic!
