You seem to be under the flawed impression that a highly centralized government is a socialist government. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Looking at historical examples it is relatively easy to find autocratic, even reactionary political groups supporting highly centralized states. And several strains of socialist thought favor decentralized government.
Iām coming under the impression few of the posters here have much familiarity with other political systems or even the ideologies supposedly under discussion.
