What could be more threatening than the 10 commandments, introduced to the world through the Jewish religion. OK, I have a couple of questions and I think I’m i the right place for some answers. First, I hope Orion wasn’t banned for an opposing view. Do the moderators post why they make these decisions (I’m new and still getting a feel for this)? NOw for questions on Judaism…OK, is the ‘chosen people’ concept widely accepted amoungst the general jewish population?
If a person converts to Judaism are they then ‘chosen’, as well?
I guess what I really want to know is it an exclusionary religion? Please don’t label me antisemetic. I was raised Catolic and now live in the bible belt soooooo I don’t have alot of Jewish friends to ask such questions to.

Lisnen, boychik, next time you and several thousand of your closest friends are running from extermination, looking for a place to live, and manage to get a few hundred square miles of land, and form a govenment, and set up a life for youselves, and find yourself under attack by most of those around you, and try to survive and thrive, and face constant threat of extermination, and so on and so forth, I’de love to see how you set up shop so that anyone is welcome, but yet you still protect yourself/friends/family.
