Hey, can Jews get visas to visit Saudi Arabia? What about Jews who aren’t Israeli?
I’ve heard people say both yes and no. The Saudi MOFA web site I visited wasn’t very helpful. Although the visa application asks you to list religion, which might be a bit sketchy.
What I did find:
According to this ARCHIVED site here, no:
http://216.239.37.104/search?q=cache:IERUoQYboT8J:www.sauditourism.gov.sa/sct/indexlist.php%3Fcatid%3D39%26maincat%3DTravel_Tips+&hl=en&start=1&ie=UTF-8
But if you look at the newer version, it is silent on the issue.
So, what’s up with that? Are Jews really verboten in Saudi?

Rep. Anthony Weiner, a frequent critic of United States policy toward Saudi Arabia, said Thursday that the Middle East country’s new visa policy outlined on a tourist Web site should be quickly condemned by American officials.
The Web site, promoting a new Saudi program to offer tourist visas to encourage more foreign visitors, lists four groups not entitled to tourist visas, including** “Jewish People”**

Well, being as the KSA asks for your religion on its landing cards, I must presume that they are asking for some purpose.
Marketing survey? Maybe but somehow I think not.
Assuming you’re not Israeli, and your name isn’t Wiesenthal or something, you can probably get away with lying.
Of course, then you’ve lied on official documents and are in the country illegally, which isn’t the best outcome either.
