While working overseas, a guy is killed in a road accident. His body is flown back to his home country for burial.
My question is: would his shoes be removed first? Presumably he’s taken to hospital, declared dead, put in a morgue, then flown back home. But what happens to his shoes (and other clothes?)
Her clothes were probally cut off her. Still you should have been offered them back. When my grandmother died (1st funeral I was involved in planning) she had on her wedding ring and her nightgown. She was buried with the ring and the director did ask if my grandpa wanted the gown back. He declined and I assume it was destroyed as medical waste.
Keep in mind that in an accidental death, clothing and shoes might be covered in blood and other bodily fluids. While every effort would be made to preserve the body itself, and other valuables, clothes would most likely be disposed of as medical waste–they’re a bitch to clean.
And trust me. . . I’ve been a professional hitman for 34 years. I know how tough it is to get a blood stain out of a tuxedo shirt.

. . . I didn’t say I was a good hitman. :smack:
