In classical times, the dead (when contacted by the living) are usually pissed off because they were not buried properly, or their relatives have not observed the proper standards of respect for them . Now, I notice that not many people visit their relative’s graves-does this piss them off? Logically, why should a dead person care if nobody plants flowers, mows the lawn, etc. on his grave?
Of course, murder victims would have a legitimate beef-do they ever complain (through mediums)?
If we accept that the dead move on to a better place (i.e. heaven), why should they be concerned about the fate of their mortal remains?
WE are not the ancient Egyptians, who made every effort to protct the bodies of the dead, and keep them safe in elaborate tombs.
According to the myths told by popular tv series, the happy dead move on to a better place, while those that hang on to their grudges have to stay around until they resolve their issues.

No.
They are fertilizer.
If the OP is serious, there isn’t the slightest reason to believe (and every reason not to believe) that dead people have any surviving awareness or consciousness whatsoever, nor is there any reason to believe that anyone has ever been able to communicate with them. “Mediums” are con artists performing a stage act.
If the OP is just being tongue in cheek, the current boilerplate for “medium” and “Channeler” acts is that the dead are in a good place and the living should not worry about them.

They aren’t resentful, at least the older ones. I read Sylvia Brown’s book where she asked questions of her spirit guide, a 2000 year old Indian (or whatever), and the spirit guide said it was great on ‘the other side’ and they had:
“lots of parties”.
