Are the multiple penetrations that occur in sex biological or cultural?

Has the OP said he’s a guy?

I have been a U.S. citizen for many years, which also means I could vote when I was 18 years old. In America, it’s perfectly normal to marry at 30 or even later. In other countries, the age of marriage may be considerably lower, and sex must be restricted within marriage. Now, take that foreign-born mentality into the United States, and you’d see why someone may choose not to marry in their teens and twenties. Teenagers have to go to high school and may not have enough resources or time to care for a child. Young adults (like myself) may choose to go to college and may not have enough resources or time to care for a child, unless they get married straight out of high school. I’d add that I’m even more atypical, because I am more of a reserved, quiet, thoughtful, and inquisitive person in real life. For instance, I like attending monthly public lectures at my alma mater university library, and I like to experiment with computer programming. Plus, I do not drink alcohol, so I do not go to bars or pubs. I never drank alcohol before I turned 21, because it was illegal. When I turned 21, I tried beer, and the burning sensation was so uncomfortable that I spat it out. I also tried different types of wine at the supermarket, but they tasted too bitter, and I never got more than a few sips.

I just wanted to make sure I get the concept right. The thrusting behavior seems natural in non-human species, but it seems so fake in the human species. So, I’ve always suspected that people just imitate what they see in the movies, but they take off their clothes, and discover that “it feels good” so they keep on doing it until they get babies.

I don’t think thats truly possible in this case.

Provide a meaningful definition of “natural”.

I remember when my son was 12 or 13 and we had a talk during a fishing trip. He taught me a few things.

Could you clear this up for me? Have you ever masturbated?

I don’t get how the OP thinks thrusting isn’t in nature, just watch dogs or horses go at it and they definitely thrust for a little while they don’t get off in one pump.

Why does it seem fake to you? In what context have you seen it?

You think it would be revealing too much about your identity to tell us what country you were born in? Help me understand your thinking here, I am at a loss. How do you think this is so?

Wait a minute. I just realize that I have made the stupidest question ever. The main function of the multiple thrusts is to make sure that the semen travels to the female vagina, perhaps as a way of forcing the semen into the vagina. When you think about sex that way, the whole thing makes sense. Okay. I already have my answer now.

Complete Sex Guide. There is one scene in which a man slowly enters the woman. In many animal species in nature documentaries, copulation does not last a very long time, and male deer never kiss the female deer.

I dunno. I lost my virginity in my mid teens, but I never masturbated until at least my early 20s.

That’s not the only way penetration happens. Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes fast. Not sure what kissing has to do with your confusion, and some other primates (bonobos – relatives of Chimpanzees) kiss during intercourse.

I am fascinated by this thread.

:dubious: I’m not really sure which is the wrongest part about this statement. It appears you don’t actually know which part of the female anatomy the ‘vagina’ actually entails, however.

while you may have had the stupidest question - you’ve definitely stumbled upon the stupidest answer to it.

Not true. It’s simply a stereotype and an excuse.

There’s a reason why people are so preoccupied with sex to restrict or control sex via laws and customs. The massive preoccupation would not exist if it didn’t happen or if they were successful at such control. Kids all around the world and throughout history have been having sex early and outside marriage for a long time.

It’s (un)surprising how many full term “premature” babies have historically arrived within 6 months of a wedding.

And in many countries, there’s often not a lot of privacy. Some portion of kids, even in America, have always caught their parents in the act. Others have heard about it from their friends. Locker room talk is a cliched but common rite of passage.

This is totally uncredible. As now repeatedly stated in this thread, thrusting is common across many, many, many species, not all of them mammalian. It’s simply not credible that an adult human of at least average intelligence and experiences would not have run across it at least once.

I, for one, knew about it well before puberty. Stray dogs don’t really care who’s watching.

So what? They still thrust repeatedly. The rapidity and duration of the act doesn’t take away from the fact it occurs in the first place.

Umbridge, it is very hard to believe someone could get to 24 and be this ignorant of basic anatomy.

Anyone see the movie Dogtooth?

To be honest, I never heard anything in my childhood or adolescence while I was asleep. So, I assumed that my parents had a sexless marriage. I looked it up, and they do exist. I don’t have many friends, and of the few friends I have when I was in elementary school, we didn’t talk about sex at all. We were mostly playmates. I had gym before in middle and high school, but I don’t think I heard anything related to sex. I was also not an athlete, so that’s probably why I never experienced “locker room talk”. Out of all the high school students at my high school, there was only one girl that got pregnant. Well, at the time, I assumed that the high school students just didn’t have sex. There was one time when the school magazine published a sex-related article and included information about birth control. The school magazine had to change its name, and it never talked about sex again. I think the contraceptives part was extremely controversial, and that made me think that my classmates didn’t use contraceptives… So that made me think that they were sexually abstinent or something.

Like I said, I’ve now realized I made the most stupidest question ever.

I never saw a stray dog before. And the rapidity and duration made me think that humans could control the penetrations rather than allowing them to go as soon as the quadrupedal male gets on the female.

Follow these steps to find your answer -

  1. Get horny so that you feel like having sex.

  2. Get a partner who is horny and feels like having sex.

  3. Ask your partner to insert penis and stay that way without making any movement of the hip, that in your parlance is not ‘repeated penetrations’.

  4. Then ask your partner to do the ‘repeated penetrations’.

  5. Compare the pleasure you get in the two situations and answer the question -

Which of 3 or 4 was more pleasurable?

  6. You will have found the answer to your query.
