Well, come ON. They’re ROBOTS, fercryinoutloud. They’re made from the same kind of parts as bicycles.
It is amazing how Park seems to lose about 15 pounds when she gets out of uniform. But, according to an interview with Katee Sackoff I read someplace, these poor gals have to stick to a rigorous diet and exercise routine. They’re not unhealthy, and they could probably kick our asses at this point.
Aren’t you forgetting someone?
This would be my robot of choice as well.
Yeah, but you’d never forget it.
and if you fall off,you have to climb back on
Try Googling "Hajime Sorayama ", & see what you get.
What I got was one of his posters.
Well, No. 3 has figured less prominently in the series thus far, but that may change. Change is good!
Good call, though NSFW in the extreme in some cases.
Glad someone mentioned Nuki Nuki.
Here is the only picture I can find from the UK publishing by Panther Sciance Fiction of Split Infinity , Sheen is one of the sexiest Androids in mainstream Sci-Fi novels.
Does Jeri Ryan as 7 of 9 count? Or is a Borg not robotic enough for this thread?
Arcee should be mentioned.
“Pretty In Pink” seemed to be an ongoing theme, in the 80’s.
As stated above.
Safe for work.

Kusanagi has way more robotic parts than 7 of 9. In fact, I think the only organic part is the brain. I think they should both count, personally. Hell, Cylons are practically indistinguishable from humans by most tests.
She’s still a full cyborg—that’s like a transsexual human. Whether or not she’s counted as a “robot” mostly depends on the politics of the observer.
Anyway, since most of the good gals (?) have already been noted, I’ll have to bring up…three of Marvel’s Livewires
True, they didn’t sell very well…and they’re all sociopaths…and possibly perverts…but hey, no one’s perfect.
I guess Rayna Kapec counts, now that I think of it.
Eh, what the hell…Wikipedia’s “Gynoid” listing, for full geek value.
Are we forgetting Galaxina??
(Link SFW, contents past that might not be)
Man, I thought this thread was going to be about Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot…which would probably have been one of the more normal slash team-ups I’ve heard about here…
But Kusanagi isn’t artificial, and I think that is of major importance in whether something is a Robot or not.
Also Kusanagi was originally a normal born human, her cells weren’t vat grown or designed to be part of a bio-machine, she’s as human as the Six Million Dollar Man, just much more completely cyberised.
The cylons were never Human, and were designed and built, hence are artificial. Now if they have Ghosts in the sense of the ‘Ghost in the Shell’ universe seems quitel likely as they are spiritual machines. So it could be argued that even though Cylons are artificial they are also not mearly robots. But that is more a subject for GD discussion.
