I’m 17, just finished my last year of high school.
I once wrote a COPPA question which I don’t think was answered. Its a new net law, yes, a real one, that says the Board owners must post a note that kids 12 & under may have their private information recorded & thus, the owners are supposed to & must post a message about that.
But they haven’t still, it appears.
I’m 19.
19, 20 in September. Should be a junior in college but can’t afford it. 
So Sad… I work full time at a computer related company. ::mystery:: oooooo… 
I’m 17, going on 18 in about two months. I’ll be a senior in high school. And I don’t drink but I still know how to have a good time! ;^)
I’ll band with you guys as long as I still get to fraternize with the “geezers”. I’ve grown quite fond of them over the (almost) 4 years I’ve been on the Straight Dope.

I’m with ya on the no-drinking Welfy, I’ve found other ways to have a kickass time. I wish, I wish, I wish you lived on the west coast.
I never understood why being able to buy booze equated being grown up. Feh.

I turned nineteen on July 4. I had a great time. I love my birthday. It might just be the national holiday/fireworks bit, though.
I’m not really looking forward to being allowed to drink alcoholic beverages, or own a gun. I mean, alcohol just tastes icky, and if you can’t buy an automatic, what’s the point?

Oh heck, I’ll blow my cover - I’m 19 and a sophomore in college. But the board elders are still wonderful and wise people. I’m not too enthralled with hitting “the age”, though…I hate the way alcohol tastes, and why the heck would I need a shotgun? Anyhoo…yeah, I’m one of them.
