Are there any out gay CHARACTERS on Disney or Nickoledeon? If not...

Eh right back atcha: King Marchand hid in Victor’s room and saw Victoria getting into a bath before he ever put any moves on her. Li was ready to plant a kiss right on Ping’s lips before he caught on.

Pretty sure Shego bats for the other team.

Probably Drakken, too.

No, but based on what I’ve learned from Dope, a lot of people don’t realize they are gay until they are much older than I would have expected. And I’ve even seen straight guys who act like they didn’t know they were straight until puberty.

But children’s shows are slower to react because they are the ones most under watchful parents’ eyes. They are the ones who most have to fear being told “think of the children.” And, when it comes to those two networks, the Christian Right is a huge portion of their audience specifically because they are “family friendly” channels.

That’s a point. King was seriously confused about his own sexuality after he met “Victor” up to then, though…

Nope.
Shego has been seen dating. Guys.

Drakken hints he has a thing for Shego.

Drakken and Shego hook up in the final episode- and Shego dates several men during the show- including Mr Barkin.

Bailiwick is the name of the character; he’s voiced by Tim Gunn.

Emphasis added.

So how do you know? And the expression is offensive.

Pleakley and Jumba from Lilo and Stitch.

Because he voiced by Tim Gunn in his normal, every day, very recognizable voice. So relax.

Wow. Thanks for worrying about me.

So any male character with an effeminate voice must be “queer”. Nice stereotype you and Emtar got there.

And not even a particularly accurate one, yes, Tim Gunn is gay (although he has referred to himself as asexual and states that he hasn’t any sort of sexual relationship in almost three decades), but so is Neil Patrick Harris (and much more active at it) and nobody would call a character he voiced “queer” just because NPH was the voice. After all, Barney on How I Met Your Mother is the ultimate heterosexual sex fiend. On the opposite side of the spectrum is Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) who is straight, but comes across as quite effeminate (at least on the show, no idea how he sounds in real life).

The expression “queer as a three dollar bill” relies on the fact that a three dollar bill doesn’t/shouldn’t exist and therefore must be wrong. That’s offensive.

The kids are safe then. Nobody with the manly name of Tim Gunn could possibly be gay. Hell, just saying Tim Gunn out loud puts hair on your chest.

Hell, yeah! Sounds almost as manly as Rock Hudson!

It was heavily hinted that Arnold’s teacher, Mr. Simmons, was gay throughout his time on the show but particularly in the Thanksgiving episode.

Not quite Nick or Dis, and not exactly an “out character,” but the star of Yo Gabba Gabba doesn’t hold back (just my observation, I could be mistaken).

Well, nothing explicit, but Disney’s Kim Possible once featured a TV show called Evil Eye for the Bad Guy, providing fashion advice for supervillains, which apparently even parodies the “Queer Eye” theme song. I seem to recall the show’s hosts acting—uh, is “somewhat stereotypical gay mannerisms” the polite way to put it?—but not portrayed negatively for the fact.

Oh, and on Cartoon Network, Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are so exes.

Yep…the most recent episode with them stopped just short of explicitly stating it, IMO.

And while Treetrunks and Mr. Pig are very obviously a heterosexual couple, the episode where they are forced by others to hide their love (due to others saying they feel uncomfortable or grossed out) seemed to draw more inspiration from some modern reactions to same-sex relationships, rather than simply showing reactions to ‘unattractive’ people sharing a PDA.

Spongebob is absorbent.

He lives in Bikini Bottom.

His closest friends are “Sandy Cheeks” and a pink starfish.

Conclusion: Spongebob is a tampon.

Every Halloween they air the Scary Godmother specials (based on books by Jill Thompson). One of the main characters is Skully Pettibone. His characterization in the books, and to a greater extent in the animated specials, is to a large extent that of a stereotypical “female lead’s best friend,” as suggested by his repeatedly coming out of closets.

If that were true, wouldn’t his best friend be a clam?
