I’m heading off on vacation, and if you look at the forecast where I’m going, it looks dismal. Rain and thunderstorms just about every single day. But wait! When I drill in, the weather during the day looks decent; all the rain is happening at night. But you sure don’t see that until you look carefully. I use WeatherUnderground, btw. Showing me “Sunday, Thunderstorms, 40% chance of rain” really makes a day look bad, when in actuality it’s at worst cloudy all day; the rain chance starts in the evening.
So… any sites do a better job at that? I don’t care if it rains overnight if it’s nice during the day. I did a quick check and can’t find any. Anyone have a suggestion?
What I’m looking for is something that clearly delineates “here’s the weather during the day” versus “here’s the weather in the evening/night” at a glance. IE, I don’t want to click “hourly” or drill down in any way. I can’t imagine I’m the only one who mostly cares what the weather is while I’m awake and potentially outside.
You want the 10-Day on Wunderground. Shaded areas are night. The graph gives ten days of % rainfall chance at a glance as well as temp, wind speed and direction plus barometric pressure.
