Are there more syndicated columnists on the right or on the left?

I am sure that there is a cite somewhere. I remember reading a statistic years ago in FAIR the left leaning media watchdog group and they said, at the time that there were about 3 right wing columnists for every left wing columnists that is syndicated.

Not that I doubt the folks a FAIR but knowing where they are coming from I wonder if there might be another study.

You have to define right and left. Years ago papers were more left than they are now. The true lefty is rare. All we have is the internets. That has as many right as left but you can pick what you want to read.
