The CNN story says they were detained for questioning. No different than what the police would do for the wife of any at-large murderer.
This is almost a non story at this point. the article says almost nothing about why she was arrested. Obviously, it implies that she was arrested simply because she is al-Douris wife. But was she merely detained for questioning? Arrested for some offense? or what?
Well I hope they don’t “torture” the poor family for information…
