Are You a Popper?(that's right I Said Popper not Pepper)

I can pop my back pretty good. I can also pop my ankle as the ligament is bad so when I move my foot around the ankle pops. I used to be able to pop my fingers but I can’t do that anymore.

Things I can pop…
Neck
Back
Ankle
Big Toe
Knees and Hips while standing up sometimes…
Baloons
Knuckles.

I’m so used to dysfunctional people these days that my first assumption was that you meant “skin poppers,” or non-intravenous heroin injecters. Then came “pill poppers.” I had no idea you meant knuckle crackers. Especiall y since I “crack” mine instead of “pop.”

Okay, I’ll play nice. Knuckles and toes. Hmmm, neck, back. Sometimes hip joint, but that REALLY hurts.

I used to have a girlfriend who was very small. I used to have her stand on my back, just above curve of the lumbar, then when I would relax and exhale…

SnapCracklePop!!
Also, I can pop my hip bones.

I’ll admit it. I pop too.

Deliberately popped:[ul]
[li]knuckles[/li][li]ankles[/li][li]toes[/li][li]wrist[/li][li]back[/li][li]shoulders[/li][/ul]
Pop on their own:[ul]
[li]knees[/li][li]hips[/li][li]elbows[/li][li]neck[/li][/ul]
If it has a joint, it pops.

Hey dropzone now you’re making me hijack my own thread which I never do. .

How does skin popping work? I mean if the drug(heroin I guess)is not injected in the vein only under the skin, how does the drug user get the “high”? Seems like it would just make them get a bumb or a welp under the skin.

Oh yeah! I crack my knuckles constantly. Sometimes I use the fingers of the other hand, but more often I press them against my jaw, or skull, or a desk or some flat surface.

Some people object to this—the same people who make mouth sounds all day long, or hum a non-tune, or slurp their Starbucks. But of course, all those things are just “habits”, while knuckle cracking is evil.

Re: heroin. It’s still absorbed into the system, but not as quickly as if it was injected directly into a vein. Hell, one can take a hit of liquid LSD just by dropping it on their skin.

As for the popping: My jaw pops, but not in the same way as the other joints. Knuckles of middle and ring fingers. Last joint of my thumbs. Wrist. (also continuously, as a previous poster can do) Elbows. Knees. Back occasionally, but it requires a curved surface to press my back against.

Thanks Tzel I have always wondered that.

And to everybody else there sure is alot poppers so wouldn’t like to be a popper too?

Actually, I once tried a “popper” myself. By that i mean amyl nitrate.

Vanilla, that’s what I thought the thread was about!

I pop -
voluntarily:
all finger joints
all toe joints
both wrists

involuntarily:
ankles
jaw
knees

I crack my fingers on two different joints, I crack my toes, too. When I twist my wrist in a circle, it cracks a few times. My jaw sticks and then cracks because of a really bad job on my braces. My ankle cracks because I’ve injured it so much. My knee cracks because I fell off a horse and landed on it (THAT hurt). I crack my neck all the time because it irritates people and I can get it to sound really loud. I’ve freaked some people out by saying I’ve broken my neck… I crack my back a lot, but not intentionally. I think that’s about it…

How the {b]hell** do you pop your penis? Ouch! What pops?

Damn formatting. :frowning:

That was my first thought too when I read the title of the thread. I had a dear friend who used to be a “skin popper” and she said the reason she took the heroin in that fashion was because it doesn’t scar up the skin the way that shooting up does (the telltale “track marks”). She’s clean now, fortunately. The only way you can tell she ever did heroin is that she has these little scars that resemble chickenpox or measles scars on various parts of her body.

As to the OP, I have TMJ syndrome in my jaw, which results in a lot of involuntary popping noises from my jaw when I’m eating. I also crack my back on a fairly regular basis, which I’m sure is probably not good for it, but it makes my back feel so much better.
