Yeah and I can see how you and 90 percent of everyone here thinks I’m a racist. But my point is even you are a little racist. hey at least I can admit it. If my daughter really cared for a guy of different race, I would accept it. I won’t sit here and say that I wouldn’t have some judgements over it. I also know I’m not walking into some project at 200 am because I know I’m either getting picked up by the police or I’m getting my ass kicked. Yet I would walk through a white neighborhhood and I wouldn’t feel worried.
Ok so your racist to then. Just like me. And i’ll tell you another thing, your shifty and I wouldn’t feel safe around somebody like you because I wouldn’t trust you.
You need to stay in your Podunk town then.
Stay in that little 'burg called LA, we Chicagoans ain’t got time for no pissant one tank town like that!
Any black neighborhood? Any white neighborhood? Man you’re a fucking idiot. Not to mention mind-boggling provincial. You really seem not to understand that your own experience isn’t everyone’s.
I come from a neighborhood in the Bronx that was 100% lily-white Irish/Italian when I was growing up. Now it’s completely racially mixed: black, latino, Asian, with very few whites left except for my mother and a few other old-timers. It’s still a decent blue collar neighborhood. I don’t feel any less safe walking around the neighborhood than I did forty years ago. (Actually, considering the drop in crime rates across the board, it’s probably safer than it was then.)
Well, you’ve been working very very hard to convince everyone of that fact.
You may be from a big city, but you sure have a small town mentality.
No, sweetie, you agreed that the hypothetical dad who doesn’t want his daughter with a black man is racist.
Your words, sparky. Now, as the joke goes, we’re just haggling over price.
Also, I’m usually pretty good about not judging people on their vocabulary or grammar, but it’s driving me nuts.
“Your” is not the same thing as “you are.” They are not interchangeable. So you’d have been better off with "You’re on the same page…"
Yeah and you and the rest of your lilly white pals left because why?
It’s “you’re”. Contraction of “you are”. Man, you racists suck at grammar.
Anyway, I’m white and my son is dating a black woman. When I met her, I did not give a single shit about her race. You really need to stop projecting your racist beliefs onto all us whiteys. Despite what you seem to think, a large number of people in 2014 shockingly don’t still have a 1950s mindset on these issues.
You know something, I was kinda pissed about this post but my grammer is bad. The you’re thing will be in my grammer in the future.
Well what do you want?
Try to put it in your grammar, as well. I’m not sure Kelsey wants you using him as a storage unit.
Maybe job and educational opportunities elsewhere? Maybe the older crowd retired and moved to Florida? Maybe they wanted to get out of the central city to a house in the suburbs with a real yard?
It’s not always racial.
My sister, for one, married a black guy and they moved to the suburbs after they had a couple of kids so they could have a big backyard.
I moved to Panama, which is even more racially mixed. I obviously moved out my old neighborhood for racial reasons.
My mother stayed, but we rent the ground floor to a Trinidadian friend of the family.
Just give it up. You just make yourself make more like a fool in addition to a racist.
It’s spelled “grammar”. Also: nobody here cares how bad your grandmother is.*
*Even odds he doesn’t get the joke.
Don’t worry, chicagowhitesox1173, no doubt at some point in this thread one of your racist assumptions will be validated.
Yeah I’m sure that’s why they all left.
Dude, my city can beat up your city.
I don’t know, it’s a tough crowd. And I’m not as racist as you guy’s think either.
Your Panama sister married a black guy? You made it sound like your Irish or something.
