Why would this mean you weren’t racist? If people of color can be racist, then marrying one doesn’t make you not racist, either. Even if you aren’t racist towards the specific minority you are married to, there are other minorities. I mean, ZPG_Zealot. a Rom, seems to be racist towards black people, for example.
It seems to me that, if you must argue you aren’t racist, then you need to rebut the accusation that what you said was racist.
As it is, you’re arguing a bunch of pretty ignorant stuff about race. You’re pushing the idea that equality of opportunity has been achieved.That doesn’t make sense if equality of outcome hasn’t been achieved beforehand. If not, then people of color are starting from a worse position than others, and thus do not have equality of opportunity. Equality of opportunity means starting from the same baseline. Refusing to accept this despite the data staring you in the face can be a sign of racism.
You’re also trying to argue that there are aspects of white culture that are inherently successful, when there are not, because success cannot be objectively defined. There is nothing exclusive to white culture that is successful. There are just values that white people have and see as success, which may or may not agree with what other cultures deem success. And the whole requirement of diversity and multiculturalism is that these different criteria can exist side by side, and not have one that dominates the other.
It all fits under just world hypothesis bullshit, where the problems minorities face are their own fault, while ignoring what the majority have done to them and how it would affect them. Hell, there’s BLM now–black people have to protest not being treated as criminals by cops and not being unnecessarily killed. That’s not equality of opportunity if black people in a rich neighborhood get assumed to be criminals.
Unarmed black people get shot and killed while armed white people get arrested without being killed. That’s not equality.
