Across the US people are discovering that the jalapeno seed that they planted weren’t. They produce some unidentified yellow pepper. The seeds maybe came from China.
Hey, I got some of those.
I thought they were a hybrid of my slutty pepper plants.
Yeah, I’m writing a letter.
To someone.
(BTW, the strange yellow pepper ain’t half bad)
Do they have any heat?
My in-laws bought some pepper sprouts and some are yielding hot peppers, some are sweet, but they were supposed to all be hot. So they were apparently victims.
I’d say pretty warm.
My Texas sister would laugh at them.
So…medium hot.
How do they compare to actual jalapenos? “Pretty warm but a Texan would laugh at them” could be a description of jalapenos themselves, in which case this is just a weird color.
I would say they are hotter than the average jalapeno.
(Disclaimer: I’m not into super hot peppers or foods.)
Seems like maybe the wholesale nursery/nurseries got mislabeled seed and unknowingly sold “jalapeno” plants to a bunch of people.
Two-Foot Greta no doubt behind this!
A posey, perhaps?
