White? Arguable. I certainly look white, but I define myself as Jewish in terms of race.
Liberal? On some issues. In general, I think of myself as center-left, although I’ve been leaning more towards the “left” part recently.
Atheist? Nope. Mildly observant Jew, and somehow still a believer.

Easiest poll ever. All four categories. I was also born and raised in the American South, and if that was added as a fifth choice I bet there’d be a lot fewer of us.

Is there another ethnicity that you think the Jewish race would better fall into? I was having this conversation with my friend a few weeks ago, and he was claiming that geographically Jews would fall into the category “Middle Eastern” and therefore be considered whatever Middle Eastern people are considered (Asian, I think?). I’m half Jewish and have always considered myself white. 23 and Me considers Jewish to be a European race, and I think every European race is considered white.
Middle Eastern people are usually considered white on things like the census. But AIUI being Jewish is more like being Hispanic; it’s not a race but more of a cultural thing (and in fact there are plenty of people who are both).
And in the poll, assuming the people voting for the title are yeses, white liberal atheist males are still in the lead over the rest of us.

There are lots of different kinds of Jews. European Jews can be considered white, but what about North African Jews? Persian Jews? Yemenite Jews? Ethiopian Jews?
Basically, you have two options: either all Jews are not the same race - or all Jews are the same race, and that race isn’t “white”, it’s Jewish. Since race is 90% politics, I’m going with the latter. We are all one tribe, one People.

I’m not sure if I’m not following you, or if I just disagree. If someone of, say, Swedish descent winds up living in Ethiopia, and stays there for centuries but has children only with other Swedes, then their offspring would be Swedish, even if they had settled in Ethiopia. And I don’t think anyone would make the argument that Swedes are their own race, they’d call those people “white people living in Ethiopia.” I don’t see why an Ethiopian Jew would be any different.

Also, as the son of an Ashkenazi woman and a Sephardic man, the two sides of my family definitely LOOK very different. And have picked up lots of cultural nuances from the locals (which has now been re-blended into something new and unique in Israel)
Ever seen an Ethiopian Jew? An American would call them “Black”. And yet, despite my own paler skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, I do not consider myself to be a separate race from them.
In short, Jews - at least, Israeli Jews - consider themselves a race. Who are you to tell us we’re wrong?

Race? I really don’t understand that concept, especially the way the US Census separates hispanicity from other stuff. (And don’t bother trying to teach me what “race” means, because it will vary with context, as in, "Why do you care what my race is?) My skin is Caucasian and my ethnicity is Jewish.
I used to be very liberal, back when the liberals were openminded and got along with opposing points of view. But then they started rejecting viewpoints similar to mine, so I guess I’m a conservative by default.
