What is so horrible about work or making any kind of effort? Like most people, there are aspects of my job that are not enjoyable. But there are aspects that are very good. One of them being the satisfaction that comes from being damn good at what I do.
Another being the freedom it gives me to live my life. Yes, freedom. I look around me, and what I have built is mine. Others may have better and more, but mine is mine. I earned it.
Change takes effort. Making friends takes effort. No one here has been cyberabusing you. If you have such a thin skin, God help you in the comment bloodbath that is youtube.
Now that this silly color nonsense is all cleared up, I’d like to know what’s going to happen to the OP when his mommy and daddy get older and need care. If he won’t work because it’s teh stoopid and stifles his super-creativeness, how’s he going to go out and, say, buy groceries, or take them to doctor’s appointments, etc?
It was a pretty bad example. In Asian families sons stay with their parents in order to take over the responsibilities of the household, not just to live in the basement and play video games.
