Yah, I’m talkin to you, dildo nuggett! You work three work stations down from me and I can hear your loud obnoxious stupid music, and I use the term music lightly, just as if I were using headphones!!! What you play on your cd player does not qualify as music. It is nothing but screaming by someone into a microphone. That being said, I would fight anybody for your right to listen to what-the-fuck-ever you want to listen to. But you, in your infinite wisdom, can’t seem to understand that I also have a right to NOT listen to your crap! I moved to another station 2 months ago because when I worked right behind you I got headaches. So you just decided to turn it up louder. The boss has said that if music can be heard in the next station, it is too loud. You must have had your noise too loud to have heard him. In case you haven’t noticed, 2 people have gotten fired already because their noise was too loud and they refused to turn it down. So do you think that you are something special? Well, nimble nuts, you ain’t nothin. You are 18 years old and I am 53 years old and I work circles around you. So here is some, more that likely, unwanted advise. TURN YOUR LOUD NOISE DOWN !!! Or you might just find yourself pulling the stereo out of where the sun don’t shine while you are waiting in the unemployment line.
Oh and one more thing, pull your pants up. You apparently have absolutely no idea how utterly ignorant you look with your pants down around your knees and I really don’t want to have to look at your ugly assed ass anymore. If I want to look at a harry ass, I’ll get naked and look in the mirror.
Dude, don’t you realize that music isn’t about listening, its about expressing yourself. Just because you don’t care about music (which is obvious, since you don’t don’t play your music loud enough for ANYONE else to hear), doesn’t mean that you have to stomp on this poor dude’s right to play a CD he fucking PAID for with money he EARNED! Yeah, maybe you do work circles around this guy, but that’s only because you don’t have a LIFE because you too busy sucking up to THE MAN. HAven’t you ever heard of the civil rights movement? Martin Luther King fought the NAZIs in back in the Civil War so that people could do whatever they want, so if you get on this dude’s case, he should sue you for everything you have!
And just because baggies have been out for, like, seven years, doesn’t mean that this guy should sell out and cover up his ass crack, fascist.
Ok, yes the person has every right to listen to his music (provided it’s allowed by the company). But he doesn’t have the right to play it so loud that it disturbs the people working at the next station. Not only is it common fucking sense, but it’s also common fucking courtesy.
I for one do listen to a cd when I’m working and I’m slightly hard of hearing, so I have to be careful of how loud I play it. I have the sense to make sure the people who work near me know that if it’s too loud, they just have to tell me and I’ll turn it down.
Ignorantnutz, (oh wait, I got that wrong, didn’t I?) you are so fucking hell-bent on this guy’s right to listen to his music, that you’re forgeting the other person’s right to NOT have to listen to it.
Hey, Smeel, re-read the part of his post you didn’t quote:
All this tells me ignatzmouse was being facetious. I mean come on, MLK Jr fighting the Nazis during the Civil War? He’s just playing man, he doesn’t mean it.
As long as you’re telling other people get a clue, I think you may need to head over to Clues R Us and restock your supply. It seems to be running a bit low.
<Lumburgh>Ummm, yeaahhhhh. We’re gonna need you to move your desk down to Storage B. Yeaahhh. And, oh yeah, lemme just get that from you. [Takes radio] Ummm, Yeaahhhhhhhh. We’ll just get that fixed for you. And ummm, Milton, mmmmm yeaahhhh. While you’re down there, could you maybe, uhhhhh, take care of that little cockroach problem we’ve been having? Yeaahhhh. Thanks.</Lumburgh>
So I am assuming that because I am the old guy here, that I should just let this jerk play his noise just as loud as he wants to? Sorry.
Maybe you missed the part in my OP where I said this:
I just do not think that I should be subjected to his brand of music. He can listen to it all he wants to, even at work for all I care. I just do not want to have to listen to it. If I brought a cd player to work and played religious music or opera or country or something else that he didn’t like, and played it too loud, he would be the first in line to complain about it.
Oh, and incidently ignatzmouse, I absolutely DO NOT suck up to THE MAN. My work ethic is quite simple. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right. And if it comes down to brown nosing to get somewhere, I will never get anywhere. Period.
cheezit, dude, did you bother to read anything after that post? Or at least, the last half of the post? There seems to ba general consensus that he was being facetious. It was a joke. Hahahaha.
Thanks, pepperlandgirl. I thought maybe I was having the lamest acid flashback ever and I was the only person who saw the bit about Martin Luther King fighting the Nazis during the Civil War. At least now I know I didn’t imagine it. (Right? You saw it too didn’t you? Tell me I’m not crazy.)
