I live alone, for the first time in my life. I spend most my time at home either totally naked, or just in a tank-top and panties. It makes it a bitch when someone knocks at the door, and I don’t recommend frying bacon. Otherwise, I’m very comfortable, and I do less laundry.
Got on linnen pants and a cotton shirt. Shoes, socks, underwear, belt. It’s the “business casual” look!
If I were home I’d be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. If I lived by myself I might not have that on. While my housemates are very cool people, I don’t think they’d approve of the whole naked thing. I do get to sleep naked though.
If I were at home, it would just be boxers. They frown on it here at work though. (Heck they are even having trouble adjusting to the fact that I kick off my shoes every day.)
Ahhhh…precooked bacon! Is that stuff any good? It always seemed kinda pricey…but no splatter-factor is a good thing.
Lieu: heh…“candygram”. Wouldn’t you be in for a shock when I answered the door. I’m sure you’d be clawing at your eyes within seconds.
Aww, you guys, no nudity at work? Damned shame, I tell you…it would be one hell of a friendly office atmosphere. There’s not many people at my work that I’d care to see naked. Or in undies for that matter.
Oh, and one more minor hijack: Guys! What do you think of a girl in men’s boxers? Is that cute or freaky? I think it’s cute and that boxers are way comfortable. Anyways. Back to lurking!
The barest minimum, boxers and old cut up t-shirts most of the time at home. I like to have something on in case of company or the neighbors walk by the windows (apt. dweller, can’t stand to have all the blinds drawn).
[Ray Stevens] It’s me again, Margaret. I know it’s you, Margaret. Are you NEKKID?!?[/Ray Stevens]
I live by myself, and on the weekends, I’m usually naked until I’m going somewhere, cause I sleep naked, and I see no point in getting dressed just because.
But I don’t strip down just because I’m at home. Truth is, I’m lazy, and I just succumb to inertia.
Tomorrow I’m working from home. I don’t know whether to get dressed for that.
My roommate doesn’t like my being naked in front of him, so I usually wear boxers around the house. If I’m home alone or he’s asleep and it’s hot, I’ll often go naked, or if I’m just in my room on the computer I’ll often be naked. I prefer to be naked when possible. I also sleep naked or in boxers, usually.
I’m going out in a few minutes, so I’m fully dressed (T-shirt, shorts-that-come-to-my-knees-with-nifty-big-pockets, and appropriate under-clothes-wear)
Normally, I’d still be in my nightshirt (and in bed, but that’s beside the point)
Right now? Just a men’s one pocket t-shirt, and some old panties. This is not my normal “around the house”/sleep attire, however. In the summer I practically live in men’s boxers and tank tops/wife beaters, and in the winter it’s men’s lounge pants, and a plain t-shirt, as I have on now.
I don’t know why, but I am just not comfortable being completely naked without reason. I have to have something on, even if it’s not much(many times my tank tops are men’s,and the arm holes are WAY too big, so, there wouldn’t seem to be much point in wearing it at all). I think that some of it is the window thing, although here I really don’t have that problem. The doorbell ringing, and now, having young, but old “enough” children, that it’s good to teach modesty by example. I still change in front of them, get in/out of the shower in front of them, but those are normal situations where nakedness is acceptable, and I do not want them to grow up thinking that their body is something to be ashamed of.
It is just a comfort thing, too. Kind of like a security blanket, I guess…I am more comfortable having something loose, and soft against me, rather than nothing at all.
