Are You "Obamaed-Out"?

I am. I’m sick of his constant whining about how we all face disaster unless we spend 1$ trillion (right away); and his pecs and his basket ball playing. I mean, this guy is just a Chicago politician-less than 1-term senator.
All of a sudden he is an economics expert!
And what about the sudden dropping of Bill Richardson (too many closet skeletons)? Does this portend a string of investigations of his other appointees?
Don’t worry, I’m just gearing up for the inevitable “Obama Disillusionment” (which will be kicking in by July.

I at least like it when he says something that has meat in it, as opposed to what he spent his whole campaign doing, what was just saying things like:

“Now is the time…”
“This defining moment…”
“It all starts now…”
“The sun will shine again…”
“Together we can achieve…”

…etc etc.

Actually, I’m ralphed-out.

Obama-ed out? Not me.

But after the last eight years, I’m bushed.

Nope, I’m too Bushed to be Obamaed out. What the hell was up with that crazy motherfucker? It’ll be 1000 years before I even consider voting for another Republican president, and I think most of the nation agrees with me.

Whilst technically “just a bit more than half” can be described as “most”, it’s probably a bit misleading.

I can’t wait to see him on the job (why do you guys have such interminable elections followed by even more waiting - it’s not good for you or the rest of us), but I am prepared for the inevitable disillusionment - Tony Blair taught me that.

Ralph - your guy lost. You betcha! Get over it, don’cha’know.

I think it’s safe to say that anyone, for the duration of his mandate, and no matter what he does will be the worst. President. Ever.

Some are worster than others, that’s all

Why do you hate America?

No, just Bushed.

So, if he were a three-term senator, then he’d be an economics expert? :dubious:

Obama is doing the right thing for a President, which is surrounding himself with actual experts, and then listening to them.

See post #4. :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: And #5 . . . suddenly I’m not feeling so clever for coming up with what was apparently a really obvious joke. :frowning:

No.

Unlike the Bush Administration…

He’s going to stop haemorrhaging money and lives in Iraq.
He’s going to do something about Guantanamo Bay.
He’s tackling the economic problems.
He’s going to make decent speeches and impress people.
He’s improving the reputation of the US around the World.

I for one, think less of you for having thought of it.

Sure, but now we’re going to have to listen to 8 years of Republican whining about how world weary they are and the sudden newfound importance of ‘fiscal discipline’, as if that has any meaning to them beyond ‘spend more than we have on stupid stuff that I like’.

I suppose I might be, if I were obsessively watching his every move, desperately searching for things to be pissy about.

Why would it?

Whoa there… let’s give the guy a few weeks before he saves the world…

Iraq - we’ll see. I think most of us want this, but I suspect Obama will learn some things that he doesn’t know now that will make this a bit harder than we all hope. FTR, I want this wrapped up yesterday, but I don’t think we are going anyplace anytime soon.

Guantanamo Bay - Doing something is easy. Solving it is another.

Economic Problems - Well, he’s a defensive back who’s stepped in front of Earl Campbell coming full bore at his chest. He has no choice but to stand in front of the train and try to tackle it. I just hope he tackles it and doesn’t get dragged for 30 yards.

Speeches - Yes, he’s very good at this.

US Rep around the world - After Bush II, how could he not? He would have to call some head of state a vulgarity to keep the slide in a downward spiral. (hopefully Bill won’t be travelling with Hillary and open his mouth).

Let the honeymoon last as long as it can. Reality will hit us all soon enough.

I saw that, but I feel that way regardless if it’s been used a trillion times.
