Are You Running A BIONIC Project? Check In Here.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a thread like this on the board, so…

Who’s using their computer to run a BIONIC (or similar) project?

I’m running Rosetta@home at work and Help Conquer Cancer (part of the World Community Grid) at home.

I know we’ve had plenty of Seti@home users here at one point.

Oh, I thought this thread was for people creating Bionic humans. I’ve said too much.

Carry on then…

It’s BOINC, not BOINIC.

I used to run Sete@home a lot, but not so much anymore.

Frack! Can I get a clean up on the Thread title please.

I’ve got SETI@home running on one of my boxes and Leiden Classical on the other.

I used to have Folding@home on my computer, I ran it a few times, but my computer isn’t that fast or good at it apparently. Still, I did have it for a while, but ended up deleting it. I might download it again later.

I’m running SETI@Home and World Community Grid (I let it choose which projects to give me) here.

An interesting list of projects… I haven’t run SETI@Home since way back when I had my 486.

One of my coworkers used to run SETI@Home until last month when he borrowed my wattmeter and discovered that it was costing him something like $20/year in extra electricity bills.

I’m still running Seti@home.
